We draw on the wealth of Australian and expatriate talent living in Berlin, showcasing fresh voices and producing operas and concerts that feel as welcoming as they are world-class. We want classical music to feel personal - up close as you enjoy a wine in your local bistro, or around the corner in your local church or community hall. Experiencing the power and beauty of the human voice in intimate settings creates an impact even greater than a grand opera hall - and makes our audiences feel like they are part of something special.

Founded in 2026, Antipodes Opera is a burgeoning centre for artists and music lovers alike. Alongside performances, we offer development opportunities for singers such as masterclasses, lectures, and community meetups - spaces for emerging and expatriate artists to make friends and contacts, whether they are settling in Berlin or simply passing through.
